No criticisms at all. We found everything we were looking for ;-) The karting was really excellent - better than any indoor track anyone had been to in the UK. And Saturday night worked out really well - half of us ended up getting sweaty at the Baja Beach Club and the other half were chilling out by the beach at CDLC. A small core group of us managed to see in the dawn on the beach (Lohnes went swimming in the sea in his trolleys, shouting "I am a God" very loudly. And this was a completely natural high...) See you at my next Stag Do :-o

Getting Around Benalmadena
 |
Walking
Benalmadena Costa is a small town ideal for those who prefer to get around on foot. Once you are near the marina, everything of interest is within walking distance. The buzzing nighlife, restaurants and all Benalmadena accommodation provided by Senor Stag are in close proximity, and only minutes away from the beach.
Train (for getting out of Benalmadena)
You can get to anywhere within Benalmadena by foot. However, if you decide to venture out to the surrounding towns, including Malaga city centre, Torremolinos and Fuengirola, there is a surburban train called Renfe Cercanías, which departs from Benalmadena-Arroyo de la Miel station every 30 minutes, on, or half past the hour from 7:30AM - 11:30PM. The station is situated about 20 minutes walk from Benalmadena Marina. |
Bus
On the main road Calle Antonio Machado, you can catch most buses to surrounding towns and villages in Andalusia, and some of them taking you up to Benalmadena pueblo. Most lines run from 7:30AM until 10:30PM although some operate outside these hours. There is no official website with bus times, so check the departure times at the bus stop, however these are not reliable and you may end up waiting 30 minutes for a bus.
Taxi
Taxis in Benalmadena are white with a blue diagonal stripe on the front doors, and a green light with the numbers 1-2-3 on the roof. If the green light is on or there is a "libre" sign in the passenger side windscreen it is free, so flag it down! The pricing system is complicated, but expect to pay around €25 travelling to Malaga city. You'll find a taxi rank in the centre of Benalmadena Marina and another one a bit further up in Calle Antonio Machado. |
